Andrew's Baptism

I can't believe it has been two months since my last post. Oops! I guess time sure flies when you're having fun. We've had a great summer so far and are looking forward to a few more weeks of summertime.

Today was a very special day for us, as we had Andrew baptized today. We had our good friend, Spiff, take photos for us at the church and I don't have those yet, but here are a few from around the house. I'm sure I'll have more to share when I get the photos from Spiff. He's made some great shots of the boys and really has an eye for photography.

Here is Andrew with Grandpa before we went to church -

We had friends over for lunch after the service. Here is Adam and Robert. They had a great time playing trains together. It was such fun to hear the two of them playing together and believe it or not, no fighting! :) You never know when you have two 3 year olds together of whether they will have good time, or a not so good time.

Here is Andrew's cake. You have to love Publix cakes. They always look good and taste great.

Our friends the Carner family:

It occurred to me that I don't have one picture on my camera of all of us with Andrew. Oops! I have to get better about making sure we take family shots, especially when the grandparents are here.

It was such fun to have friends over for lunch and to be able to sit and relax. My parents were here, along with our friends Janet, Spiff, Lauren, Meredith, Heather, Greg, Robert, Natalia and Connie. After it was over, Ken said he'd love to have people over for Sunday lunch more often. It was no pressure and just a fun time to sit and chat. I think people used to do that a lot more, before we all got so busy. Maybe we'll start trying to get some of us together on Sundays more often.

It's been a great Sunday and now we're all relaxing on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Tomorrow starts another week and hopefully, I'll post more before long.
