I don't even remember how I came across the blog of the Lawrenson family, but I've been following it now for several months. Please visit Nate's blog, Confessions of a CF Husband. The CF is for cystic fibrosis, and the blog tells the story of Nate, Tricia and their precious new daughter, Gwyneth Rose. Their story will renew your faith in miracles, because their story is nothing short of miraculous. Take a few minutes and read more about their story - it will truly bless you.
God bless you Lawrenson family! You are in our thoughts and prayers, and we are so hopeful for your return to your home very soon.

Andrew Photos from the past week....
Adam photos from the past week or so...
Adam's end of year picnic for the Due West preschool was at DAC Kids. It's a huge indoor playground with a huge sandbox underneath, along with a few inflatables. Adam loved the air guns that shot foam balls across the room.
Here's Luke, Adam and John - the three musketeers from preschool. I'm not sure what Adam was trying to tell me.
It's a very different concept for an indoor kids play area....
Adam in one of his last soccer games....yes, he's running down the field after the ball!
Here's the soccer team...Thanks Coach Dana!

It's Been A While...
So, it has been a while since I've updated the blog. We have been so busy lately and I just can't seem to find the time to do an update.
I guess I'll back up and update you on a few things from the past week or so.
May 16th was a great day! That was our 5th wedding anniversary. I can't imagine being any happier than I am now. Ken is a wonderful husband, father and best friend. He makes my life absolutely fantastic. Every day is better than the last. We now have five years down and a lifetime to go.
Adam is doing great. He finished up the school year at Due West with a "bang." I'll try to post some photos later of him enjoying the end of the year picnic playing with the air gun. We are now officially finished with soccer season as well. He loves his trophy. He played some and sat on the sidelines some, but overall I guess it was a good season.
Andrew is growing like a weed. He is now four months old as of May 25th - I'm not sure where the time has gone. On May 26th he rolled over for the first time. I have a feeling we're not going to stop him from moving before long. He seems to want to keep up with his big brother.
Work is keeping me extremely busy. I was in Savannah for four days last week attending a conference, and have a couple of more trips coming up. Things are going really well - but it seems like I need to be working all the time. I'm in meetings a great deal of the week which leaves little time to get the real work done. I have a new Administrative Assistant who is a tremendous help.
Life is good....if only we could win the lottery and not have to work...but as I usually say, you have to play to win! :) I'll try to update with some photos later. You can always check our family site at www.baumhoff.us for photos as well. We're a little behind in updating but will try to get caught up before too long.
Enjoy the rest of the week!

There is nothing like the beach......
I had the best Mother's Day ever....how can you complain when you're at the beach with your favorite boys. :) Adam had a great time and somehow this was his first trip to the beach. We've been to Florida several times, but usually to Disney World and not the beach. My parents invited us to join them in Gulf Shores for Mother's Day weekend. It was great! We were very close to the beach, the weather was beautiful and we all had a great time.
Here's Adam with his first steps on the beach - he couldn't understand all the sand and water. I can't imagine what it must be like to see something this large for the first time.
In no time at all, he decided he was ready to start building sand castles.
He was afraid of the water at first and didn't want to get too near it...but before I knew it he was running to get water to play in the sand with.
You can see his smile....it doesn't get much better than this!

New Photos of Andrew
So we went today and had some photos made of Andrew. They did a pretty good job. We had them made at Kiddie Kandids in the Babies R Us. We have quite a few photos that they made of Adam as well. We wanted Adam to get in some of the photos, but he refused. He is being a typical 3 year old. :) He doesn't always want to cooperate.
I can't believe how much Andrew is growing up. It is so hard for me to imagine he is already 3 months old and going. I'm not sure how the time goes by so fast - but it always seems to.
It's been another great weekend with lots going on....we had soccer yesterday and it started raining as we got there so we played inside. The photos weren't very good from inside. Then today we had a picnic lunch after church...it was on the "green space" at church. They had jumpy's for the kids and Adam loved it. He had the best time playing with his friend Cole and was very unhappy to leave.
It's off to start another week. I can't believe it is Monday already. I don't think I accomplished very much this weekend, and it is already time to go back to work. Oh well! I guess I'll get some of the stuff on the "To Do" list done eventually! Have a great week!

Almost there......
So Andrew has decided he wants to roll over and start moving....I guess he is trying to keep up with his big brother. :) The following pictures are from Wednesday night. I had to be gone to a meeting for work yesterday and today and I just knew when I got home Ken would tell me he had rolled over...not yet, but it won't be long.
This photo is from this morning....so much for sleeping on his back. Ken found him in this position this morning when he went to check on Andrew. I guess he'll sleep on his side. :)

And this is from just a few minutes ago....he's trying so hard to roll over...he loves playing on his mat and trying to roll over to get the animals...
I hope everyone has a great weekend! We have soccer again tomorrow and I'm sure we'll have some photos to post of all the fun.
